Their use is officially discouraged because they trump up the article count even though they can&#039;t be considered an article. They also mask the true holes in PhoenixHistory.com.<br /> <br /> They are useful, though, if the author is planning on making good on the promissory note they represent. Or if the article is going to be a collaborative effort that needs a catalyst.</div>
